I like #4.
Can I get it with K4OM on it and my own name.
All the examples have Papa November's name and call on them.

Guys,
A couple of the WVDXA members have contacted me over the past year or
so about getting club badges like we had made a few years back using the
"logo" design I created. Actually, I was never really satisfied with the
design because I didn't feel like the color scheme gave enough contrast for
the text to stand out. The company that made the badges for us back then
apparently went out of business. However, Bob WA8VPN recently contacted
another printer who advertises in QST. He is:
Gene Harlan - WB9MMM
Name Tags by Gene
Harlan Technologies - publisher of Amateur Television Quarterly
http://www.hampubs.com
I have been working with Gene for the past week or so trying to come
up with some different ideas. The main thing that was a problem for the old
badge was that I used a gray background (like in sample #1). I have been
able to change the design using a white background but asked Gene to try a
few different combinations of colors and the images. Actually, he doesn't
care what design anyone uses because his process is a direct printing
process from an image file, unlike a screen print that requires a set-up
template. We can get a discount if we have so many orders but the max I
believe he will charge is $12 per badge. See his website to confirm. I
haven't been talking price with him actually. Oh, and we can modify the
ARRL DXCC Pin image on the badge to read whatever you'd like including
however many number of entities you'd like to have printed on there.
Impress everyone at Dayton next year and have "390" printed on. W8UV may
even want his to indicate 6-meter DXCC. Whatever you want is no problem.
But I would like to know how many of you might be interested in
ordering from Gene so we can see what kind of discount may be available. I
know WA8VPN and W8IW want a badge.
Oh, to see the samples.... http://www.w8hc.com/wvdxa/wvdxabadges.htm
If anyone has another idea for a design, please feel free to email it
to Gene. He is great to work with and eager to get our business.
His web address is above and it includes all information necessary.
