Hal, When we formed SWODXA (can it really be twenty eight years ago?),
we got to work on the badge design and I believe Frank W8OK came up with
the logo--a tower with yagi rising right up out of southwestern Ohio.
We had the maker leave a blank spot on the badge where we drilled a
small hole just big enough to mount the ARRL clutch-back DXCC pin with
numbers on it. You might have noticed some of the guys at the DX Dinner
wearing theirs. That would mean that we wouldn't have to keep changing
badges. We'd only need to put new stickers on our DXCC pins.
