[WVDXA] DX Forum at Jackson's Mill ARRL Convention

DX'ers,

     The West Virginia State Radio Council (WVSRC) has asked the WVDXA to
step-in and produce the DX Forum at this year's WV State ARRL Convention at
Jackson's Mill.  It seems the person who had taken on that duty needed to
step-down for personal reasons and the WVSRC has asked if the WVDXA can
handle the job.  The DX Forum is scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2008, 9:30
am, Jackson Lodge Basement.

     I'm throwing this out to the Membership for ideas as to what we can do
on short notice to produce a DX Forum.  Anyone have any ideas for either a
1-hour presentation or two 1/2-hour presentations?  Anyone want to volunteer
to make a presentation?

     Even if you don't want to make a presentation yourself, but you have an
idea of what you would like to see us do, speak up.  With all the
high-powered DX operators in this group I'm certain there will be many fine
ideas and our only problem will be weeding them down to the one or two that
are the best.

     Of course, if you have something you can present (or help to present)
that would be fantastic!

     BTW, the "NEXT"  WVSARC Convention Planning meeting will be Saturday,
July 26 at the Hickory House, Weston, WV, 1:00 PM -- join the group for
lunch at 12 noon.  So, we should have some ideas in hand before then.
