John,

There's very little to it:  the changes to the tank circuit (easy), 
taking some turns off a tuned input coil and changing one of the silver 
mica caps and finally (the hardest part) using a piece of perf board to 
make a small transistor circuit which reduces the voltage at the amp key 
jack to a level which can be handled by modern rigs.  If you can't find 
anyone to do it in your area, bring the thing to Jackson's Mill and I'll 
tackle it.  All you need do is cover the cost of the parts.
