TU, Clark.

We haven't had good propagation to St. Barts. Last night I sat here for
four hours, occasionally hearing just a whisper from him with the beam pointed
down his throat. He was being heard 75 miles away to the north and 100 miles
away to the west but I couldn't hear him well enough to work him until this
morning. If we ever get a good path, you'll work him on the big wire.

Had lunch with W8QHG yesterday. The swelling in his legs is better with
increased medication, he looked great and said he felt better.

Thanks.

Garry,

I heard your side of your SSB QSO. Prior to your QSO, Dwight, KC8WDT, from
Mason County worked him on SSB. I just can not hear his SSB. I did hear him
very briefly on CW at 8:22 a.m. but he dropped out before I could call him.

Congratulations on a New one! You can check the online log later this
evening here:

You can do a lot with just a wire but nothing beats a beam to bring in the
weak ones! However, I'm "locked and loaded" in case he peaks again.

Clark, W8TN
