Hal, There are a lot of RTTY signals on and around 7038. I suspect it is
because J5C listed 7038 as their RTTY frequency. Dave W8UI

Shalom Y'all,
This is our last night at Kinar, on northeast of the Sea of Galilee. I
think it's abt 400 feet below sea level here and the cliffs of the Golan are
abt half mile east of us. Tomorrow we travel on to Jerusalem and I am not
sure I'll be able to put an antenna up there. It depends if I can get a
room w/ balcony or not.

Tonite I will listen/call on 7.038 on the half-hour beginning at 2130 UTC.
Maybe a shot at a QSO.... Who knows? The antenna is a 12-ft telescopic whip
w/ 20-ft horizontal wire clipped to top. Am on 2nd floor and have 4 24-ft
radials, 3 of which go over the side of the balcony to the ground. Using
LDG auto tuner w/ 100w from IC-706. Should've brung my 87A. HiHi....

Hal W8HC

Very cold here today w/ extremely high winds up on the Golan. But no snow.
I understand there was snow storm over to east of us in Jordan and Iraq.

Enjoy reading everyone's exploits and experiences back home especially the
"Killer" updates. Keep 'em coming!

73,
Hal W8HC
