Gary, I could not hear them well enough to try them from my mobile yesterday. TS480SAT plus Tarheel screwdriver is the rig. Same result on 40 yesterday. They need to be a bit louder to be workable from the mobile.
What is your antenna on 17 meters?

For the first time (for me at least) a DX-pedition QSL'd me within a few hours of a QSO. I worked YK9G for a new band/entity combination on 17 meters last night and found a QSL via LOTW when I turned the computer on this morning. Wow! Those Brits are not only fast at sending CW, they get the confirmations out before my amplifier cools down.
