Tim,

Without going back through my "paper" logs, here is what I have
recorded in my computer for Alaskan QSO's on 6-M:

12-Nov-2001 1912 GMT SSB WL7HE
12-Nov-2001 1939 GMT CW KL7HBK
12-Nov-2001 2048 GMT SSB NL7ZW
01-Dec-2001 2053 GMT SSB NL7Z
28-Dec-2001 2129 GMT CW KL9A
06-Jan-2002 2022 GMT CW KL7XX
06-Jan-2002 2016 GMT SSB WL7X

      OK, that's enough, I have 16 KL7's logged on 6-M since
1-1-2000. Three on CW and 13 on SSB. All times run between 1855 GMT and
2147 GMT. Dates ran between 12-Nov and 06-Jan. I don't really think you
will have a problem working Alaska.

Here are the only KH6 stations I have logged in the computer:

05-Aug-2000 0230 GMT SSB AH6LE
18-Nov-2001 2153 GMT SSB K6MIO/KH6

There is no particular time of the year for Delaware. Here is the
only one logged in the computer.

22-Jun-2001 0043 GMT SSB WA3WUL - Delaware

The same goes for the western states. You can work them in June or
January, whenever there is propagation. For example:

26-Jul-2000 0344 GMT SSB NØIPL - Wyoming

Note, this was an "NØ" in Wyoming. Don't just try to work W7
stations as folks do move around and you can miss a good one by thinking
only "7's" are in Wyoming or other 7-land states.

If you are "serious" about working 6-M, here is a list of sources of
information I put together for a presentation at Jackson's Mill last year:

6-M is definitely the "Magic Band" and, as Pete, K4OM, is fond of
saying, "To work DX on 6-M, you need to be in front of your radio!"
