Greg & Joe,

I checked my log for ZS9Z/ZS1 (Penguin Island) and see I worked them
Dec. 1, 2, & 3 back in 1990. My logging program (DXbase) says that the QSL
manager is OH2BH and gives his address as:

Mr. Martti Laine
Savasundintie 4C
SF-02230 Espoo
Finland

     QRZ.com gives this address:

MARTTI LAINE
SAVASUNDINTIE 4C
ESPOO FINLAND 02380
FINLAND

And, gives his email address as:

oh2bh at sral.fi

In doing a Google search I see that I gave this same answer back in May
2006 so maybe there has been some more "water under the bridge" since then
and maybe you have already found the OH2BH route to not be correct.

But, I did some more looking on Google and found the following which is
ZS6EZ's QSL Policy:

http://zs6ez.za.org/qsl-pol.htm

As noted there (and on his QSL Status page:
http://zs6ez.za.org/qsl-stat.htm) he does not respond to email requests.
That page also has a "note" about ZS9Z/ZS1:

*Important notice about ZS9Z*

I can not seem to find anywhere that he specifically states he is (or
is not) the QSL manager for the Penguin Island DX'pedition. So, for that
reason, I think I'd try OH2BH (unless you already know that he is NOT the
manager.) It seems he is still listed as the QSL manager for this
DX'pedition in the few QSL manager lists where I was able to find the
ZS9Z/ZS1 callsign.

Anyway, that's what I have on this end. GL.

hi Greg, I found a message thread abt ZS9Z/ZS1. Did you ever get a good
route for the QSL. I too have found an old QSO fm 1990.
