Gary,
Congrats to everyone. I want to apoligize to everyone for not showing up this morning to help spot.....BUT my excuse is, that when I settled down for sleep my hired help had laid my keyboard where I couldn't reach it!!!!! I didn't discover that untill early this morning. I would not of been of much use anyway, I had some kind of noise and couldn't hear anything!!!!!But sure glad it paid off for Pete and the others......Just shows what hard work and perservrence can accomplish......73 and again congrats to everyone....nice to have this so called enity worked....Greg, W8GG

He was trying to arrange the use of a ham station out there the last time we heard from him.

This AM both K4OM and W8OP got good CW QSOs thanks to their steady tenacity and to constant spotting on the WVDXA chat site. Thanks to all you guys who did that wonderful blow-by-blow spotting report, capped off by one "outta left field." All the CW QSO's seemed to be between 14.028 and 14.034, but then W8VPN suddenly sent a spot that said 14.057. Both Pete and Alan quickly tuned there and both had success. So how did Bob discover them at that way-out frequency? He said he heard the DX calling one station several times before breaking and he correctly figured that someone was being cued to a pre-arranged "special" frequency for a "buddy QSO." He found them and sent that spot and the contacts were easy, although Pete (at my shack because he was having trouble hearing in his house) was unable to answer the first time the DX came back to him because my computer did something strange and wouldn't send for about a minute. By the time we grabbed a paddle the
DX had moved on to another station, but shortly after that Pete called again and got 'em. He's only six away from Top of the Honor Roll now.

Also, I forgot to mention when I sent the tally yesterday that W8QY, Joe Shank (Huntington) also worked the BS7.

This was not a simple DXpedition to work in this part of the world, but we've got some great operators and some very helpful folks in our little club which made it a fun and rewarding chase. Bet we'll all sleep well tonight.

 Congratulations to all.

We need a meeting soon so we can swap stories of who did what.
