[WVDXA] Garry Ritchie Report

Nancy called the house this a.m. after I left for work.  Stephanie did talk to her briefly and called me here at work to provide this update which I am sending from my mobile phone.

Doctors performed surgery yesterday to repair Garry's broken jaw and  he's now wired shut. Nancy says he's in good spirits. But I'm sure if anyone can figure how to feed Garry's new hardware for 6-meters,  he will appreciate that.  Otherwise, looks like a liquid diet is something Garry has to look forward for the next few weeks. 

Looks like he may not have to undergo any surgery on the fractured arm but doctors still reviewing.  He may get by with a sling.  Let's hope that will be all that is necessary to mend that situation.  

There's a possibility even that he may be released today if doctors do decide to hold off on the arm surgery.  Let's hope this will be the case and he can walk out of the hospital soon! 

Hopefully we'll know more later today.
