      I really hope you can make it, even just for an hour.  We will have a 
really great time and I guarantee you won't regret making the trip.

      BTW, when can I give you a landline?  It's 11:10 p.m. local right 
now.  If not tonight, I'll call you late tomorrow evening.  I have an 
appointment tomorrow that will keep me away from home until about 10 p.m. 
and if that's not too late, I'll call you on my way back from the 
appointment if I don't talk to you tonight.
