"Never Give Up, Never Surrender!" That's my motto.

The FJ finally stopped working EU and started whipping off the U.S. on 3.507 MHz. It took some time to determine his pattern as there were so, so many folks calling out of sequence. But, even when I got his pattern, so many other folks had the pattern that it was a brawl to see who he would come back to.

Finally, at 0618 GMT I managed a QSO. It took him three tries to get my call correct but he did and sent it cleanly. HEY, he even gave me a "599" if you can believe it!

Now, if this operation counts, that will be one more counter. That's three bands for me now - 80-M, 40-M and 20-M. Maybe I can sneak in a QSO on 17-M on Christmas Eve.
