[WVDXA] FJ - Will it count?

Just worked the FJ on 17 meters CW also, but will it count as a new  country? 
 I note that the ARRL is "reviewing" the status, and the  original word on 
this from the Daily DX said it would probably be effective on  Dec 22.  Anybody 
heard anything else?
