Finally got him.  wasn't moning s meter.
Inverted v at 50 feet 1.5 kw.

His signal just isn't much to brag about.  Finally worked him at 8:30 pm 
local on 7.002.  I was running 1 KW to a 3-el 40m beam at 60 ft.
