Gee, 1500 watts out of the driver stage is impressive. I guess you need
the 1:1 SWR to prevent damage to the final because of the massive amount of
electrons flowing in the hardline.
Once Palestine comes on the air I'll be sure to wear my safety glasses with
the UV shield and my aluminum foil hemlet to protect from stray radiation
out of the Huntington area.
OH, almost forgot, I've installed a 120 dB attenuator to protect the
front-end of my receiver. Please just tap the PTT a second or so before
you apply any modulation so that I have time to switch in the attenuator
and save my rig.
Also, the propagation prediction is better for the first part of the coming
week. Here is a snippet from the ARRL Propagation Bulletin:
>The US Air Force and the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center
>forecast solar flux at 95 for December 14-16, and 90 on December
>17-19. This suggests a possible continuation of recent sunspot
>activity, because sunspot numbers this week were 39-44 while solar

>10, 20, 15, 15 and 10, so expect unsettled to active geomagnetic
>conditions on Monday, December 17. Geophysical Institute Prague
>predicts quiet conditions December 14-16, active December 17, and
>unsettled December 18-20.
