[WVDXA] Athens, OH Hamfest / WV State Convention

WVDXA received a "free" admission to the Athens Hamfest next Sunday April 29.  If any of you are planning to attend and want to save $5, let me know and I will drop it in the mail.  But I figure most of you will be sitting by your rigs next Sunday for the BS7H, assuming they can find the rocks.
 
On another matter, Ann KA8ZGY, as secretary of the WV State ARC has sent WVDXA a reminder that the State Convention at Jackson's Mill will be held on August 25.  As in the past, as part of the fund raising efforts for the Council/Convention includes a "Booster" page in the Convention Program.  Ann has sent us a donation registration sheet and we are asked to donate $1.00 each to have our name and callsign listed on the Program's Donor Page. 
 
Unless anyone has a better idea, I thought we can let our Treasurer Dave WA8WV know if you want to "pledge" a one-dollar donation and he can give the money to Ann out of our treasury.  We can then "collect" the money from each of the donors at the next WVDXA meeting, or if you want to send it to Dave, that would be OK too.  Dave, I will forward the donor page signup sheet to you.  Ann needs the sheet by July 31. 
 
Next meeting will follow the BS7H to swap stories...
