Clark,
I really don't think they will be on this weekend!!!!!!
I HAVE coax, and rotor cable. Have heavy duty rotor wire. Have 1, plus spool of 213. and 1 plus spool of Belden 8214......If you have time, come on over and we'll whack some off for ya.....think i also have the manual for the M2 rotor.....Greg, W8GG

In the last few days I've called M2 and got them to email me a manual for the new Orion rotor. The original manual got destroyed in one of my floods. They recommended a particular rotor cable from the Wireman. I called and ordered it but it is backordered. So in the interest of speed, I decided to use the TailTwister that is already mounted in the top tower section.
I also ordered a Work Platform and, yep, back-ordered. Are you sensing a pattern?
Today I made a fast trip to Electronic Supply in Huntington to buy some rotor cable for the TailTwister. Well, they only had three feet of the proper cable so I had to buy a 10-conductor cable with not exactly the right wire sizes. But, it should work. I also asked for some Belden RG-213 and bought the last 100-feet they had. Not enough by half but I'll put another 100-foot piece on it and make it work.
Asked my contractor to have the electrician come and hook up the 220-volt line in the shack. Hope that gets done or I can't run the amp.
Then today I also planned to remove the 1/4-inch wall steel mast so that we can more easily pull up the top section. However, the bolts in the Thrust Bearing were rusted and I could not break them out. I tried Penetrating Oil and hammering on them but after a couple of hours, none would not come out. So, I made a panic call to Rick, W8ZT, who told me how to use a propane torch on the bearing. A fast trip to the youngest son's house to borrow a torch and within five minutes of returning home, the bolts were out! Thanks Rick!
Shortly after that Rick showed up and helped me pull out the mast. He measured the bolts and will get me replacements. Also, he showed me the Thrust Bearing was dragging. Not good! So, he pulled it off and showed me how to get the bearings out. I'll clean it and replace the thrust bearing after I work BS7H!
Today's two photos posted on the following web site:

I have moved the older photos to the Archives. You can make any photo larger by clicking on it. Then use your BACK button to return.
I am now working on the Phillystran guys and hope to attach them to the 28-foot level and the 56-foot level tomorrow. The plan then is to put up the last three sections on Saturday along with the mast. I'll probably just pull up the CushCraft A4S and use that for BS7H because there is not enough time to build the SteppIR and get it up. Wish me luck.
Clark, W8TN
Very Glad he has GREAT Friends!
