Is it safe to assume you are a bird watcher and knew about this bird or did someone tell you about it? Just curious. I am not sure I would know it was a rare bird if I saw one.

Subject: [WVDXA] Rare bird visits Patriot
At our bird feeder the last few weeks we have been visited by a
Harris Sparrow. This bird has not been seen in Ohio in the last 50
years. It winters in the western Great Plains and nests along the
Arctic Ocean area of Canada. Please do a Google to see a picture of
this bird. It is traveling with White Crown Sparrows and other areas
of Ohio have been reporting seeing this bird.
