Guys,
Today was the day to take down the antennas at my current QTH. K4OM,
Pete, and KC8UHE, Tim, graciously agreed to come and help. Without their
help I would not have been able to do 1/4 of what got done. Thanks a load
guys. This stuff sure was a lot easier when I was younger.
Anyway, photos of today's activities have been posted on the
following web site starting with the 10th photo on that page titled "On
10-April-2007 . . ."

I had hoped to get the IIX Ladder Mast and the 30-feet of tower on
the ground today but ol' W8TN just pooped out after almost 3 hours on the
tower. Probably could have made it if I had not had to call for the
bolt-cutters to cut through two rusted U-Bolts. Dang near didn't get
through them. I just don't have that "Superman" strength I had in my youth.
Now to go find my Aleve and lay down for a nice 12-hour nap. Pete &
Tim, thank you so much!
