W8TN's Not Dead Yet!

      Well, I don't feel quite so sad now.  Went out to the shack at 6:15 
p.m., fired up the station and had a nice signal from N8S on 15-M 
CW.  Could not hear anyone working him so set up my split in the blind, 
just 5 kc. up from his frequency.  On my second call he came back to 
me!  Scared me so bad I could not find the right message memory to send his 
report and he had to repeat my call.  Well, that's all it takes - a little 
propagation and a lot of luck.
