Garry and or Dwight,
Please pass on this invitation to the Ham groups. There will be a meeting /
presentation in Charleston on Thursday, October 12th on the Bird Flu Pandemic
community preparedness. Part of the mission is to look for volunteers to
make plans in case the Bird Flu turns real bad. Too many of the people making
the plans are educators, lawyers, and politicians. This meeting is aimed at the
engineers and technical groups that can bring some practicality to the
plans. I know the Ham groups are highly community involved and usually a keystone
if disaster strikes.
Dinner will cost $15 per person (pay at the door). The attached link
contains more information and a person to RSVP to. Let me know if you need more
information. ISA is one of the supporting groups to this WV Joint Council of
Technical Societies.
Thanks,
Grace
