Hal,
Maybe you depended on the spot from DX Summit to get this guy's call
sign? If so, there were several spots that had two of the letters
transposed. Try LA9VDA instead. Here is a quote from The Daily DX for
January 10, 2006:
LA9VDA's, Trond, trip to Svalbard was delayed until today. He hopes
to be QRV on 60 meters and will be there through January 17th.
If that is indeed the callsign, then QRZ.com reports the following:
JW9VDA (SVALBARD ISLAND - NORWAY) Lookups: 3876
Trond Johannessen
Helgedalen 13
N-1528 Moss
NORWAY
QSL: LA9VDA
There is no charge for this service from W8TN.
Clark, W8TN
Still need a Montenegro QSL
