Would have called you but I understood you were at work M-F at that  time.  
Anyhow, sounds like you got him on SSB.  I verified that I  worked him on Dec 1 
SSB now that they have the first few days worth of QSOs on  the online log.  
For today's CW QSO he was VERY loud for about an  hour.
 
We think Tim, K8VD, worked him CW too.

Gary, Great job !  Heard VU7 working you.  He's got your call  OK.  Couldn't 
hear you,but got a great copy on him hr.  I may have  made a qso earlier on 20 
SSB but QRM prevented me from being sure.  He  did get W_OP.  I hope it was 
me.  So I need to get this one on cW  for sure.
