Sorry to hear about the situation with your crankup Dave.  I don't think it's "us" that's the competition.  Looks like it's the EU boys at this point.  They are on 14002 right now and S-0 here but copiable when the EUs aren't QRMing.  I don't hear 'em working Ws though.

My chances of competing with the rest of you in working the VU7 just 
lessened considerably.  My crankup with tribander folded over on Friday 
morning just like its predecessor did three years ago.  This time it 
wasn't insured.

I still have the guyed Rohn 25 so I may be able to work 'em on 40, 12 or 
17m.
