Greg,

      No problem.  I went to bed about 4:00 a.m. and about 4:45 a.m. I got 
a landline from a ham friend in Colorado telling me he was on 30-M then.  I 
don't think Evelyn appreciated the necessity of such an early call.

      In any event, about an hour later at 0954 GMT (5:54 a.m. local), I 
did manage a 30-M CW QSO with KH8SI so I'm now a happy camper.  Three bands 
and two modes was all I could manage but that is good enough for now.

      Glad you did so well with him after being away on vacation so long.

      As for me, my eyes are real droopy with only two 1-hour naps all last 
night.  DX IS !!
